I'm in no way blaming anybody, especially Bush since he had only been President for eight months. But, I'm sure some information was out there.

Which was why Bush held over Clintonista Richard Clarke, who rewarded Bush's largemindedness by repeatedly stabbing Bush in the neck every chance he got for about five years.

Gorelick needs to be interrogated by Weldon and a bunch of rubber-glove types from CIA. Get it all out. Step on the bloated tick and see what comes out.

These people owe us the truth, big time. They are criminals, as well as ideologues. They don't have the courage for "suicide by dogma". They'll dump.

I like your way of thinking. For years we have watched these politicians get away with obvious and traceable crimes and were expected to turn the other way pretending we didn't notice anything. Politicians should be held accountable for their crimes and there should be no "statute of limitations" because they are predators that have caused mega hardship to the people who trusted them to do the right thing.

You are right about the dumping. They are gutless wonders. We would be prosecuted or lose our jobs if we so much as take a pen or pencil without permission.
