Swing Vote: Newly Dead Now Oppose Obama

As a Chicago pol, President Barack Obama must be familiar with rumors that the cemeteries vote. If so, he’d probably be worried to find out that in this campaign year, he’s even lost the dead.
In death notices from around the nation, the recently deceased are reaching back to canvass the living.
“In lieu of flowers, Hal has requested that donations be made to your local animal shelter or to any candidate running against Barack Obama in 2012,” reads the death notice of Harold Groves, a retired Air Force fighter pilot who died at age 77 on Aug. 26 in Myrtle Beach, Fla.
Donations should be sent to “the American Cancer Society or who ever is running against President Barack Obama in 2012,” echoes the notice for Donald Charles Unsworth of Rome, Pa., also an Air Force veteran, who died at age 78.
And it’s not just airmen. Betty Lois Van Derck, a homemaker formerly of Mesa Ariz., who died Sept. 1 at age 88, urged mourners to “consider making a donation to whoever is running against Barack Obama in 2012.”

And somehow these “dead” people will eventually vote for Obama 2 years from now thanks to your friendly tombstone registrars from the Dem party.
And don’t we know it! The donation money may go to Obama’s opposition, but this dead person’s vote surely will go to every name on the democrats’ slate.
Yup. They vote a straight Demo ticket and do so in alphabetical order.

Perhaps, but the money will probably generate lots more votes against the Bummer through the GOTV effect. I think this is a happy story.
