Ah, those were the days - when men where men, women where women and a little fire in one’s sports car could be taken in stride without the need for any silly recalls.

LOL! Or gas gauges. Found out mine was broken when I got the Spit. Didn't need it ... I could see straight down into the tank to see how much was left.

My first car was a British Leyland Austin 1800. It was the most comfortable car while waiting for the tow-truck you could ever have.
