I don’t have a left-wing bone in my body but I’ll tell you this...I’m going to need a bottle of “No-Doze” before heading to the ballot box. I can’t figure out who to vote against.

Oh brother, do I ever hear ya. If it were up to me I’d toss everyone in government OUT and replace them with random people picked from a pool of those who had successfully made it in the Real World[tm] working for at least 10 years.
It’s gotten to the point where the political machines have taken over, and you either have to be an entrenched bureaucrat, or a multi-millionaire (or both) to be able to win political office.
