I left my firm to establish a solo practise a little more than two and one-half years ago. I have been Cobraing ever since. My Cobra expires on April 30, so I contacted a broker to identify a new carrier to cover me and my two daughters effective January 1. I was told by the broker that, because of Obamacare, except for two very expensive policies, all carriers have essentially stopped issuing new individual policies. He is hoping that they will start issuing decent policies within the next month or so. However, I have very mild, very treatable hypertension that might prove to be a problem. Repeal Obamacare. Repeal it now.
I got rid of my “hypertension” by ignoring the demands of the doctors to take their stupid prescriptions, and instead, went to olive leaf extract. It not only has stopped my frequent UTI’s (due mostly to CFIDS- Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome) but has kept my BP within “normal limits.”
To prove to my doctor that I didn’t have hypertestion, I took my BP at home over a two week period, every day, but at different times of the day. Guess what? My BP was consistently around the 110/65 range and often quite a bit lower.
The culprit? The fact that the nurses take your BP when you’ve just driven across town in nasty traffic, hiked two blocks from the parking lot, and had a fight with your significant other over breakfast. The result? High blood pressure when your vitals are taken. The least they could do is wait until you’re ready to leave before they take it. The bestids.
