Not to critisize MW nor start an argument, but I have a question that applies to anyone in this situation.

If someone finds one of their employees, or an aquaintence for that matter, is an illegal, should they turn that person over to the immigration service?

In Meg Whitmans case she didnt have to turn the woman in to immigration authorities, Gloria Allred the womans alledged attorney took care of that for her.

Allred shouldbe disbarred.

Jerry Brown has nothing to campaign on, so he has to invent a scandal instead.
But it’s not going to work. This has only made Californians more determined to elect Meg.

Under the law as currently applied, Meg would have been the one potentially exposed to legal jeopardy if she had.

Nicky Diaz Santillan:Ayudame por favor!!!? I am here illegally, I stole a social security number, I lied numerous times, and I want compensation for mileage for driving my car to the grocery store! Plus, I have fat cheeks!

Gloria Allred:There there dear! Don't worry. Mama is going to sue for Billions!

Precisely and this can be said for the Democratic party as a whole. They can't run on their records, nor on their values; at least no honestly because most God fearing, decent Americans would reject those values.

Thus, they have to lie, cheat, and make the issues about something else, anything else.

Democrats are running ads against 0bama and on the Tea Party platform, and not mentioning their party affiliation.

There is no deception Democrats will not stoop to.

I totally agree but as someone pointed out it seems MW could have been open for prosecution if she had turned the housekeeper in.

Good luck getting the government to act. With all the publicity don't you think that immigration knows by now that she's illegal? And how do you know that Meg Whitman didn't inform ICE?

As was pointed out by Bill Cunningham on his radio show last night, Gloria Allred pulled a similar smear (a sex scandal) with then Gubernatorial candidate Schwarzenegger several weeks prior to his election.

This time, regardless of who wins, I would hope some investigative reporter will look into the connections between Allred and the Brown campaign.

Sadly the thing that is not being asked is HOW DID MEG FEEL when “one like her family” told her she was illegal...that she lied her a** off for years, betrayed Meg’s family and opened them up to a scandal....the lady is lucky she only got fired. Meg could of had her deported........

Calling the Border Control re illegals is often ineffective. They can’t/won’t pick up illegals in certain areas unless ordered to from on high. When I found an illegal immigrant (Mexican) squatter living in a garage of one of my rental units (in the heart of San Diego), and called the Border Patrol, I was referred me the San Diego Police Department. The police removed the illegal squatter from the garage, handcuffed him, briefly questioned him, and then released him.

Isn’t it time MW puts out an ad questioning why Moonbeam has not prosecuted the housekeeper for being in the country illegally and using forged documentation?
