Personal responsibility is demonstrated in many ways. Picking up ones trash after an event is a demonstrated characteristic of personal responsibility. On Saturday the Socialists marched on Washington to demonstrate their support for Barack Obama and the current Socialist controlled Congress. Thousands of people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial for a march to call for One Nation Working Together that featured civil rights leaders, labor leaders, environmental and peace activists, faith leaders and celebrities with the intent of voicing concerns on jobs, for justice, immigration reform and for education for all.
When they departed, they left the Mall covered with garbage.
Good Sense Politics has comparison photographs of the Obama Inauguration and the September 12, 2009, TEA Party in Washington, DC. The Obama Inauguration was attended by 1.8 million people who left behind 100 tons of trash. The TEA Party was attended by more than a million people who left the ground cleaner than before the TEA Party began. This has been true of TEA Parties and other Conservative gatherings across our nation.
How people handle their trash tells much about how people view their obligations to society and to others. One group leaves trash behind and appears to care nothing for those who follow. The other group seeks to leave what they found in better condition for those who will follow.
What does each of these political groups leave behind when they are in charge of spending money and passing laws? Our National Debt and a bloated government bureaucracy are trash that our current Administration is accumulating and willfully dumping on future generations.
It is time to clean the accumulated political trash from Washington and our state capitals.

Excellent find. And thanks for posting the entire article.
Love the headline. Completely appropriate :)
I never thought I’d see the day in the USA when our own citizens would stroll around with signs supporting socialism!!!!!!!!!!
What a complete travesty.
If we get Noah'd in 2012, can't say I don't blame the power's that be.

Look on the bright side: We are smarter than they are. We are self-reliant. We are self-disciplined. We take responsibility for our own destiny. We reject victimhood. We refuse to blame someone else or something else for our mistakes. And we teach our children to do the same!
Regardless of the circumstances, we will prevail.
We will have thought ahead, made the necessary arrangements, and gotten ourselves, our families, and everybody else who will come with us to a place of safety, while those poor lunkheads are still waiting around for somebody to give 'em a handout.
No doubt Brian Williamsface will lead with this on Monday’s Nightly News...
Sucker. That "American Indian" was actually Espera DeCorti, son of Italian immigrants. Even the tear was fake - glycerine.
It’s not just that they left their garbage, but it’s where they left it. Such disrespect and dishonor has no place in American government.
Good morning to you.

OMG, that looks like less then 10% of Beck’s rally. And that’s with mandatory attendance by some unions!
