Group with ties to Rove to launch voter blitz in W.Va.
Charleston Gazette ^ | October 1, 2010 | Alison Knezevich

An aggressive conservative group linked to former George W. Bush strategist Karl Rove is launching a get-out-the-vote blitz in West Virginia to help Republican John Raese in his bid for U.S. Senate.

The group, American Crossroads, says the effort will be extensive and will use enhanced voter files and data on early and absentee voting patterns to target Republican and independent voters with mailers and phone calls.

The Mountain State is the ninth where American Crossroads is investing. The others are Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire and Washington.

Hey Rove....shut up and hide until after the election. What’s not needed now is your anti-Republican candidate crap. Charlie Krauthammer needs to chill out too!

There’s no more wrong with O’Donnell than there was with the imbecilic DemocRAT she’s replacing. In fact whatever she did is of no more significance than a pimple on a private’s ass.

With help like you two are dishing out the DemocRATs are being helped considerably.

They’re using your comments on their political commercials!

We’ll start calling you Tokyo Rove!

The PEOPLE (remember them) have spoken loud and clear and they didn’t want your tired old hack of a candidate! They wanted Miss O’Donnell, so just lay off or you’ll develop a reputation from which you’ll never recover!

Oh, my. A herd of stampeding RINOs.

Clearly this newspaper is one of the reasons KKK Byrd held sway in that Appalachian backwater for the better part of a century.

Or, I suppose, they could save the cash and just ask Sarah Palin to endorse him.

Quite the rehab effort going on, isn’t there?

Like you, there is no sale here either. The mask has slipped, and we have seen the face. We know now, and we will not forget.

Poor is a comparative term. Silence is indeed golden yet unobtainable.

Rove is a left wing shill and a RINO of the worst sort. Yeah he “looks” like most people would assume a conservative looks, but that’s where the resemblance ends. He’s just another darling of the MSM FOX media cabal. Worked his misery as Bush’s adviser to the great detriment of the United States. What is with Roger Ailes anyway? Between Beck, Rivera, O’Reilly (constantly finding something with which to praise Obama), Krauthammer, Williams and Rove, what a zoo Fox has become.

Taken to hyperbole are you? Haiti, Bangladesh, low casts of Calcutta included? Please refrain from hitting the people you are trying to win over. That is something a liberal/socialist would say. This is where I live. I would rather have my car breakdown among these people than any where else in the world. Not hyperbole!

The mainstream media has this habit of calling everyone who doesn’t toe their line a “conservative.”

Moderates like Rove and their associates have been mislabeled for years.

Why do we take what the MSM tells us as the truth when they call RINO’s conservative?

And one of the most beautiful.

Rove isn’t investing in Christine O’Donnell so I guess he has to put his eggs somewhere.

Why not West Virginny?

The state has been trending GOP in presidential elections and Rove’s “talent” was helping Bush 43 win there twice.

Best wishes for John Raese and if it takes RINO Rove to help, I can live with that.

Its party unity time for now.

The housecleaning can resume after November 2nd.

launching a get-out-the-vote blitz in West Virginia to help Republican John Raese in his bid for U.S. Senate seems like a good idea

IMHO

and we should support it in WV and in other states.

One of the poorest spots on the planet.

The gdp of WV was $ 56 Billion in 06 or $ 26 K/ person.

Ever been to mexico, africa, asia?

Most of the countries of the world, would love to have WV gdp as their own.

It's state to state gdp is not good, but the cost of living is not the same as NY.

Don't be too quick to make uninformed statements.

WV is a Pre-socialist dystopia—one small step to Cuba. Maybe the people there will realize that Obama wants to put them out of business enitrely.

There wasn't much point in reading further with this opening, since such a pairing is HIGHLY unlikely. Another lib reporter trying to smear conservatives by tying them to anything and everything the Repub party does or promotes. NOT the same thing. This is probably the #1 issue I have to constantly keep reminding lib friends & family members of, namely Conservative IS NOT EQUAL TO Republican.

Yes, it’s one of the poorest spots.

Because it’s been under the grip of Democrats for decades and decades.

Thank You.

I’ve stopped donating so much lately to other states, because when it comes to West Virginia, freepers can insult, but not donate so much to West Virginia candidates...
