So how did you deal with the cognitive dissonance with your pronunciation of "uranium"?

The old explanation of the pronunciation used to be "shut up! -- and straighten up in the back there!"

didn’t have to do that in 4th grade. when i was a kid, i used to say mustard, as “must turd”. lol
