You are so right. I've been saying that since even before Obama was elected--he was always Hitleresque. Very scary, for those of us old enough to remember when the stories started coming out of post-war Europe.
I was in the library today, and came across a book: “Sieg heil! : an illustrated history of Germany from Bismarck to Hitler”...
It was full of hundreds of pictures from the early twenties onwards that I had never seen, and the book filled me with dread. Too much like what I see today.
