He streamed his own sex show and talked to people visiting his website as he did so.
Is This Webcam Spying Victim Tyler Clementi's Last Call for Help?
I haven’t seen a legitimate source with that story.
It’s not that I don’t think it’s true...just that...if it was private...then that is different than what his roommate apparently did.
Whoa whoa! That profile is deleted and there’s a lot of porn there.
Even if the guy posted stuff anonymously...it seems like his roommate made it public info....
There was no pretense 'at first' on who or what he was. Does that remove constitutional protection to privacy? This is not a Gay or Straight Issue - it is a issue of law as it applies to citizens across the board called the 'Free Republic of America.' If you remove protection of privacy from one group or individual you end up moving the line of demarcation (of liberty) - sooner or later towards yourself and your privacy and liberty.
The press is making it one. And again, where did I state that the two should not be held responsible for streaming video? My point was that he did it himself. But the press is claiming he was a bullied homosexual and that caused his suicide. That makes no sense he, himself, put on sex shows online.
Then attack the press. Liberty should be a much higher value then to have the press manipulate your response towards the wrong target.
Excuse me?
Like many homosexuals, the boy was deeply conflicted and unstable. Whether a cause or effect, it is a nearly unavoidable aspect of the homosexual lifestyle. The two who videoed him may have lit the fuse and are responsible for that, but likely the kid was headed for problems regardless.
Unfortunately it appears that he was unstable. It’s very sad that apparently no one saw it.
That about sums it up.
Google his online handle cit2mo.
One New Jersey politician is now going to try to increase the penalties for invasion of privacy from $15,000 to $150,000 and double the maximum prison time from five years to ten years.
Better start turning off those nanny cams now. Check up on a babysitter from the office, go to prison.
If I let out a peek for every time my briefs were "icy hotted" by a dormmate during my freshman year, I would have been laughed off the floor. I dealt with it, and got him back when I could. I also learned to be a little cognizant of the tricks and was seldom the victim for long. My roommate soon learned to respect me for not being such a wimp. And he got his a few times, too.
And Matthew Shepherd was not killed over his sexuality at all, in fact, his killers didn’t even know he was gay, it was a robbery gone awry.
But never waste a crisis, I guess.
You're right. If Clementi was straight or gay, his roomate did not have the right to secretly tape him and put it on the internet.
Taking sex videos of someone and sticking them online when that person runs his own porn channel is theft of services.
“anti-gay bullying”? BS! Posting a video of what this little perv was doing is bullying? I think not. So to quote lady gag gag. If you dont like it, then leave!
