“Several of the founder’s write in their papers about smoking hemp, it was the major crop along with to tobacco in the colonies.”
The word “founder’s” can only be a contraction of “founder is” or a possessive that refers to something that belongs to or pertains to a founder. Apstrophes are never, never, never used to form plurals, even if the U.S. Government Style Manual says they can be, the illiterate b*stards.
That said, do you have any citations from the writings of Founding Fathers to demonstrate the truth of your claim?
It should be noted that hemp was used to make rope and fabrics. It is a misconception that demand for hemp for smoking made it a major crop.
Yes, Hemp was used for paper, fabric, rope, just about everything.
And that is exactly why it is illegal. Because people can easily grow there own, the government doesn't like that. This is similar to the government making having Gold illegal. Anything the government cannot directly control, they outlaw it.
It has nothing whatsoever to do with 'protecting' society. In fact, it is quite the opposite. It is all about enslaving society and keeping the little people 'under control'. That is what it has alway been about.
