We have to remember there are nuts on the Left who are ticked at the One because he's not radical enough and Jarette is not immune to some kind of physical attack because of her closeness to him.
Kidnapping of top advisors like Jarette is also a possibility. She knows a lot of inside stuff, including state secrets.
However, just the fact she's in the fed building with agents at all is significant because it appears she's there on serious top-level business....whatever it is.
It's certainly not grabbing a lunch with her daughter who, by the way, seems to be lucky enough to have a patronage job in the edifice.

If Rezko testifies, it means he is then going to go after Obama. Politically speaking, it will be much easier to prosecute Obama after the election.
Ask yourself why she would need so much protection in a secure Federal Building.
When Dad and I discussed he said it sounds more like an escort provided by Federal Marshals. One on either side, front, back and lead to clear the way. (She would be in custody as either a unwilling witness or defendant, possibly failure to answer a subpoena?
The question should be: Did they escort her all the way from DC? How did she arrive, public or private plane. She cannot claim any privilege since this all happened before BO was pres-ent.
IF BO is convicted of a crime in CHicago, no need to go through with BC legal cases....He’d be in prison with no power and ALL information would be available to the public.

First time I heard him state the story about
the Bush/Gore 2000 election calamity. He was

during those agonizing 42 days, and he’d been
working 37 hrs straight.
So, next Shep’s program is on .. and they break
in with a news alert that Pres. Bush’s attorneys
were spotted driving in Georgetown, looking for
Kennedy’s house.
And they wake up Napolitano.
And Shep says: that means that Bush watches

I think it's too time-consuming at the moment to track down if Jarrett has SS protection. Obama would have a good excuse for it anyhow.
I'm still on my snowbird gig and get all the Chicago news all day long via the local talk radio shows. One of the hosts loves to give all the hot details of any court goings-on.
I'll report in when I get something of substance to relay about Valerie, Rahm or anyone else.
As a minor gossipy side note.....Mayor Daley has kept himself entirely removed from any of the federal inquiries and investigations regarding Obama, Rezko, Blago, Jarrett, etal.....and the Chicago Way.
Da Mare's name is never mentioned in connection with anything going on right now, although the Daley dynasty has been mobbed up for decades and it's hard to believe Daley doesn't have his hand in the scandals somewhere.
But then again, he very well may be clean. Daley is no big friend of Obama. Little Richie runs the city, no one else. Rahm will need lots of luck when he kneels to ask for his blessing plus backing from the Daley Machine entrenched in the city's wards if he decides to run for mayor.

Daley says Obama backing won’t necessarily tip mayor’s race to Emanuel
President Barack Obama’s endorsement wouldn’t necessarily swing the race to be Chicago’s next mayor in Rahm Emanuel’s favor because voters will make their decisions based on the issues facing the city, Mayor Richard Daley said Saturday.
“That’s up to them to judge, and the people will judge,” Daley said when asked about the importance of a presidential endorsement. “The voters are much smarter than the press give them (credit for), I just want to make sure you understand that. The people understand issues and understand candidates.”
“(Obama) can endorse anyone he wants. You’re not going to tell the president what to do, I’ll tell you that, no one will do it,” Daley said while speaking to reporters after a groundbreaking ceremony for a new high school in the Ashburn neighborhood.
