Is Graham really too dense to figure out that securing the border is a meaningless gesture if a blanket amnesty is granted to those who already violated it?

While it may be impossible to deport 11 or 20 or 40 million illegals (nobody even cares to know how many), it certainly would be possible to deport the worst 1.1 or 2 or 4 million who are gang-bangers, felons, welfare cheats and the like.

Before you get even halfway with the worst 10%, a good share of the others will self-deport, particularly if you offer incentives such as free air conditioned bus rides and a nice sack lunch for the first x million to report for voluntary deportation, then gradually ratcheting it down to a ride in a box car with straw and cold tortilla and beans paid for by property seizure.

The idea is to start sending them back, finish the fence, secure the border, and once you start sending them back some will leave on their own while others will now be prevented from coming in and making the problem even worse.

None of this will happen until 2012 so we have two more years to endure under Marxist control from the top and jabbers like the rinos and hard left.
