You raise some great points. I can’t do without my daily Rush, but I can share that time with a little Sage.

I seriously missed him, and was worried about him. I knew he had back pain and Lupus.

I was a huge fan, but backed off a little when he was taking such a soft turn on illegals. Still, I remember exactly where I was when I heard of his Mom’s passing, and how I felt, almost like it was my own Mom. I wept. I have been honored by Larry asking me if he could read my email on the air. He is a class act, and I just love him.

I was born in Hollywood and have a lifelong love of the city and SoCal. (Moreso after leaving it for a decade overseas.) I hate what has happened to it, and I refuse to think that this is fatal.

Seriously, to me what is killing this place, is political correctness. Which correctly translates as pity. It is cheap and easy for the Hollywood limousine liberals to give, and it doesn’t help poor Americans of any stripe. Larry understands this very well. There are poor people all over the globe. Just because Mexicans are closer doesn’t give them the right to steal resources from struggling Americans.

And I am having a love affair with Tim Conway too. He is a lot of fun, and it’s hard to find anything to disagree with him as well.

Wow! That IS an honor! :^) I'm impressed!

I bet you had a lot of fun growing up in L.A. I love L.A., and believe me, when I was 20 years old, if anyone had told me I'd ever say such a thing, I'd have snorted in contempt and disgust. [^) That I fell so deeply in love with this place down here is one of the biggest surprises of my life.

I love Tim Conway Jr., adore him to pieces, but he's not a sharp political thinker. For example, he absolutely failed to see how the new regulations on credit card companies will hurt, not help, the consumer. He thinks they're great because those damned credit cards screw everybody. *sigh* No, the people who borrow money without understanding the ways in which they have to pay it back are screwing themselves; they whine to the government nanny, and she passes a law making it so that ultimately, credit card companies will make it a lot harder to get a credit card. That's an example of the kind of thing I'm talking about.

But I can forgive that in Tim because I don't listen to him for his politics. I listen to him because he's fun to hear, he's NOT a screaming liberal and skewers them adroitly and often, and has great callers. He also has a wonderful laugh! And he's a local, too, knows L.A. like the back of his hand. That is very cool and makes him a fount of insight and information about So Cal that ONLY a guy like him, or Larry, can present.
