Even though I remember hearing about him in my late teens, I don’t know how I managed to go without actually hearing Rory’s music until middle age.

And there seems to be something about guys with early-’60s sunburst Strats with the finish worn off... :)

Rory was my freekin idol. I think I saw him more than any other rocker. Never missed a show.

The man simply was the best. No glitz, No flash, just Rory and a well used strat.
