Years ago when my daughter was a teenager her best friend was with child. She came over our house crying several days in a row talking about the pressure her parents were putting on her to get an abortion.
She would say things like “they want me to abort it.” “get it taken care of.”
I told her to call “it” what “it” really is.
When she said they want her to abort her baby she broke down in tears. I told her whenever she spoke with her parents about “it” to be sure to call it “her baby”, their granddaughter.....
I think the little girl is like 15 years old now.
