Just wait for the TV adverts from the greedy grasping lawyers, ‘Were you wolf whistled on the way to work today?’ ‘Did you overhear your name whispered by colleagues at the photocopying machine’, we are Injury by tittle tattling Lawyers 4U, 100% compensation, 100% success rate, we sue anyone for anything, simples’.

As I thought, the Tories are virtually as bad as Labour. Except for a few interim years under the great Maggie Thatcher, they have been the Me Too party for the best part of a century.
Not even Churchill did much to resist the trend, since he was obliged to ally with Stalin and Roosevelt.

Funny you should mention that, I came across this courtesy of my whole foods forum, with the ensuing discussion on when the authorities would be coming for the meat eaters.... they are coming for the raw milk farmers, and their customers already...

I have to laugh, when I read over my reply, it occurred to me that the whole cannibal deal just might be their undoing : o They would of course want to respect the values of an ancient culture....but in doing so, would allow the consumption of meat...oh my... what to do, what to do?

Whatever happened to freedom of association?
Umm...complex issue. In local councils around about 1870 or so. National elections it was just after the first world war (1922 election I think), but there was an age limit that did not apply to men. I think that was rescinded by the late 1920’s (the so-called “flapper” election).
