Actually, redistricting is done by the legislature and if they cannot get it done, it goes to the Legislative Redistricting Board made up of five statewide office holders (NOT the governor), all of whom are certain to be Republicans. I won't say that the governor has NO role, but it's not very large.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate your stance but can’t split my vote again. I am not willing to take any chance to allow Bill White to be governor and the votes you get will be taken away from the Republican running, therefore giving White a chance to be in charge.

The Legislative Redistricting Board deals with state redistricting of the State House and Senate and has nothing to do with the Congressional redistricting, correct?
