Anytime they have to say about 285 supporters, it means that about 185 of them were Biden's traveling amen chorus and MSM hacks. It would take a third grader less than 5 minutes to actually count such a sparse crowd.

This reminds me of Biden's campaign stop in fall 2008 to a local high school, an indoor event in the middle of the day with free tickets advertised well in advance. The media described the crowd in the middle sized high school gym as about 500 which would be about 25% capacity and less than half your average JV basketball game on a week night. Yet they refused to show pictures or video of the actual crowd, focusing only on the amen chorus on the podium.

By contrast, Sarah Palin drew 3000 supporters at a 6 a.m. outdoor event with less than 12 hours notice at our local airport.
