It is a tragedy, for someone to be so unstable that they take their own life over being filmed in what was by all reports consentual sexual activity.
Those that committed this violation of his privacy should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It was without a doubt a gross violation of this mans privacy as to what happened.
Yet he chose to take his own life over it, which is not the sign of a sane and rational person.
What difference does that make?

Hamilton, teens do not have enough life experience to comprehend that a personal disaster doesn’t mean life, as they think it to be, is over.
Something like this comes along, and many teens can’t see beyond the immediate catastrophe (in their eyes) to a possible future.
This is why teens may react beyond “reason”.
I personally believe that sending teens off to college can be hazardous to their health and emotional development. Many of them are just not ready for the environmental swamp found on most campuses today.
wow...what empathy, what sympathy..
You obviously have no capacity to understand that it wasn’t just ‘consensual sexual activity’...which would be enough for most young college kids to be emabarrassed about on the internet...this young man was gay, and was “outed” when not even his parents knew.
Sane and rational people often in extreme cases respond dramatically.
