They hide behind this nonsense because they haven’t a clue how to fix the big problems. Then they have the gall to say they accomplished something.
I wish my legislature would meet every three years instead of every year. They’re a menace.

Is there no end to these people’s obsessive overreach? What a contemptible bunch of fascist pigs.
To: ColdOne
that send couch potatoes diving for their remote controls But that's the only source of exercise many people get in a day... now some people will just get even fatter.

Congress has time for a useless junk bill and to have Steve Colbert make an ass of himself before a Congressional hearing but can’t find time to extend the Bush tax cuts and derail the largest tax increase in US history. Time to throw the bums out!

Sigh.

Largest tax increase in history? I always find that interesting when we are only going back to 2003 tax rates. We that tax cuts in 2003 the largest in history? I always wonder how people say such things. I am all for tax cuts but not the embellishment of how we get them.
To: ColdOne
I can do this myself. What are these idiots doing? I don’t need a nanny government telling private businesses what they can or cannot do.
Good freaking grief!

Better watch out for whatever else is in that bill!!!
Any bill with a common-sense title is bound to have some Marxist agenda attached.

My thoughts exactly. Fox has a nasty habit of starting a commercial at a high volume and then softening it down. Very annoying. I don’t know about CNNMSNBC and the rest as I don’t watch them.
To: ColdOne
This I agree on since the broadcast media seem to be ignorant. Blowing out speakers is crap. I have used the record program on my system and when they go to commercials I mute, skip, and put sound back on when the program continues. If the sad stupid sponsors realize that a huge majority just kill their commercials you would think they would have the brain to make the proper level on their own. So much for a huge majority of Americans, brain dead.

Did the Senate also pass the "Emergency Deck Chair Rearrangement Act" too?
