That is correct, however, Fox News is not Beck’s only outlet.
I would venture to say that Beck would have experienced success in his life even had he not been on FOX, and I base this upon his radio show and his books.
Television is not the only medium, and it is not the most effective medium, as Mr. Limbaugh believes.
I just wanted to add to my premise by saying that there are many other hosts on FOX News who, while also successful in terms of money, do not have the same insight as Beck, they do not produce anywhere near the product that he produces.
For instance, if O’Reilly or Greta held a restoring honor event in Washington, I think that it wouldn’t be anywhere near what Beck did.
He is a unique individual. He would survive and prosper without Fox, and vice versa. However, I do believe that it is his unique point of view and insight that has caused his success, and not FOX News per se.
Sure Beck would most likely have had success, it’s a matter of degree however. The bigger the audience the bugger the success. These guys are paid by sponsors who advertise on their shows.
