I posted it because it’s a new poll on a very interesting race. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dems start to really rally behind Murkowski if she’s consistently ahead of the Dem candidate. Miller could use some money.

I have a feeling some underpaid staffer accidentally switched the names, because Rasmussen (which is a polling house that, among other things, I've actually heard of) has it exactly the opposite. I highly doubt there's been a twenty point swing in the last ten days.

You know, as a write-in, you have to spell her name exactly as it is on the ballot.

I have a very, very, very hard time believing those poll results.

It's her charm overwhelming the public.

Doesn’t bother me except the same person always posts them.

Well, if it was Rasmussen, I might doubt it, but CRACIUN RESEARCH has such an impeccable reputation that I’m really worried now.

Writing in a candidate’s name requires more effort than checking a box, filling in a bubble, or however Alaska does it. How many people say they’ll vote for Murkowski but then get to the ballot box and say “screw it”?

I don’t buy that she’s ahead anyway, but on election day I don’t think she’ll ultimately even come close.

I don’t know about you, but I never believe a poll until I see confirmation from CRACIUN RESEARCH.

"CRACK-I-ON RESEARCH"

Crack is about the only thing I can think of that would generate these kind of poll results.

A write in candidate is going to take 41% at the polls?

BTW, my wife is out looking for a hot, over sexed 30 year old to move in with us because she knows how happy that would make me.

The polling company’s home page features a testimonial from Alaska rat senator Mark Begich:

“Jean Craciun is a sociologist and her firm Craciun Research has been doing business in Alaska for over twenty years. I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Craciun many times, most recently on my campaign for United States Senator in 2008. It was a good experience which brought together not only the best from Alaska but from Washington DC as well. Ms. Craciun was always a team player and worked with us in the qualitative research area assisting with campaign focus groups to direct strategy toward message development and media buys. Jean Craciun is a well respected pollster in Alaska.”

That explains a lot.

"“The telephone survey averaged three minutes in length"

Not a very well-endowed poll, is it ?

THIS POSTER IS AN ASTOTURFER/LEFTIST PLANT...SEE HIS RECENT POSTS..HERE IS A SAMPLE:

On Obama’s polls: These numbers go back and forth, just the way it is. Obama will never get to the low levels that Bush had, imo.

On Angle: Angle could have had as much free TV media as she wanted after her primary win... Instead, she chose to sit back and let Reid use her as a punching bag for weeks on end. Voters don’t like a candidate who vanishes from sight for long periods of time (like Martha Coakley).

On Angle ads: I was just in Las Vegas for a week and you are inundated with Reid/Angle ads each commercial break. The only thing I really noticed is that Angle’s ads are really cheap looking.

On Palin’s homerun speech the other night: I’m a huge Palin fan, but thought the speech was just OK. And the crowd WAS dead. There were a few times she tried to tell a joke and the C-Span cameras focused on people who looked like they would rather be anywhere else.

On Bristol DWS and Palin hatred: Bristol certainly danced well enough to last a few more weeks. But I’m not sure if the Palin hatred in the country will prevent her from getting the needed votes to keep her around long.

On O’Donnell: I’m afraid she’s toast. You just don’t make up 15 pts with a snap of a finger. I would have voted for her in the primary, but that witchcraft story just blunted any positive momentum she had.
