Being a campaigner is like being a rock star or messiah, he feeds off the adulation and adoration, the waves of love all for him, for doing nothimg more an vogueing and looky cheeky and sly whwn we roused the crowsd with Yes We Can! He doesn’t have ro do anything but stnd there and make sure his workers ae seeing, validating with him how loved and adored he is. No work in that involved at all, just receiving the vibes of love coming to him from the amorphous unknown humans out there.

The day 1 on the job(hint-the party’s over)-and right away his true personality instead of his “stage face” comes out. And it quickly sinks in that the hard tedious work of being President is a whole other thing one he doesn’t like and isn’t prepared to be bothered with. He’s not interested in and has no feel for the “drudge work” which is the biggest part of a President’s job on a daily basis. He’s still either suspicious of whites who work with him, or else condescending to them (like Biden or Hillary). The work of the nation which every previous President had to deal with, is either too much for him or just beneath him. It was supposed to be a 4 year love-in, with the people and the media continuing to swoon over his most regal self! Work-what? You mean I have to work at this? “I’m afraid you must at least appear to work, Oh Mighy One, you know, so we can show you looking all full of gravitas-you know the white folks like that. The blacks won’t care if you earn big money off the whites anyway you can get it. But they’re not quite the voting majority yet, so, distasteful as it is when you just got a new mirror in the Oval Office”, you have to at least appear to work a little.

I really think he believed that because he won...as he likes to remind people “I won”, that he would walk into the Oval office, command that his visions of “transforming America” be done and that it would just be done. After all, he won. So when the American people started to push back last year with with healthcare I think it really threw him off. I think in his mind he can’t understand why he is being questioned... after all, he won. All those adoring throngs of people, cheering, fainting etc during the campaign.... I think that’s why he always doing these dang speeches....he’s looking for that “high” of adoration... he cannot grasp the concept that anyone would object to anything he is doing. I’m starting to wonder if he will make it to 2012, especially if we get the coveted super majority...I think he will really get “wee-wee’d up”.
