One of the means by which the Left perpetuates its stereotypes of conservatives is by frequently referencing them as if they’re already accepted fact. Consider Exhibit #43,296: Florida reporter Jim DeFede’s overview of the Florida Senate race at the Daily Beast. It’s mostly about Republican-turned-Independent Charlie Crist (spoiler alert: he's a shameless opportunist), but DeFede takes the time to remind his readers that Crist’s GOP opponent, Marco Rubio, is a race traitor:
The Republican is a Latino who is running on one of the more anti-Latino platforms in the country […] Rubio's strategy is a simple one—do nothing that would alienate his hard-core, right-wing base and pray that Hispanics will give him a pass on many of his positions (he backs Arizona’s immigration law, supports making English the official language, and opposes a pathway for illegal immigrants to gain citizenship).

Illegal immigrants are illegal, pay no taxes, pay no federal obligations, and fail to respect the most fundamental of civilized laws - knocking on the front door and asking to enter. Illegal immigrants are invaders. Just as you and I would be if we had no passport and entry visa to France, but continued to work there.
What does that have to do with race, other than the mass majority of US invaders are hispanic from south of our national border?

Defede is an idiot, anyone who knows about south florida reporting knows that he is a moron. That said, I am tired of people grouping all Hispanics together. Cuban-Americans Looove this guy, and they don’t much care for illegal immigrants either.
