The MRC unequivocally denounces James O'Keefe for his attempted assault on CNN. It isnt just childish and immature; it's ugly, dishonest and filthy. There is no place in the conservative movement for this type of behavior and that's exactly what I warned about in a commentary piece I submitted to CNN.com just two days ago.
"Could the Citizen Journalist abuse the public trust?" I wrote in this piece that should run in the next few days. "Hypothetically, of course. Conservatives must all guard against this. Let there be scrutiny, by all means." And I repeat: there must be scrutiny.
Bottom line: We want nothing to do with O'Keefe or his dirty antics.

So what did O’Keefe do?
They have theirs. Why can’t we have ours?
Wht did O’Keefe do?
While the latest stunt was funny, it certainly wasn’t professional. O’Keef’s previous actions exposed corruption, this just was playing a game.
Look under the Extended News sidebar.
Seems a bit light on detail.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer
The guy really has gone around the bend. Looks like Hannah was the brains of the ACORN operation.
The real story is that the Bimbette CNN reporter was all in favor of joining the sex-fest, until someone tipped her off that she was being ‘punked’.
According to her, she was led into believing that it was just a "meeting," and O'Keefe's assistant tipped her.
Sounds like someone has never seen 60 Minutes.
If I follow this, CNN had a reporter looking into O’Keefe, and he tried to get the reporter into a compromising situation? Childish, kind of a Bruno or Borat deal, but was it all that evil?
Well, it’s not admirable.
O’Keefe needs to figure out if he wants to pull stunts just because he can or if he wants to expose real corruption. I don’t see a real difference between what he did here or the “journalists” tracking Bristol Palin across the country to determine if an establishment is a real restaurant.
He is undermining credibility he once had with his behavior lately.
Scuse me, maybe I'm slow. Who is "they"? What is it they have?
From what I’ve seen, this was a rather stupid stunt.
Backstabbers. Assassins. Mud slingers. Muck rakers. Agitators. Puddin’ stirrers. TROUBLEMAKERS.
So, if it’s crapulous, cretinous tactics we’re talking about, I rather prefer that the other side have the monopoly.
He and Breibart are just trying to break in and make it big in the right wing media, where there is a lot of money to be made.
