>>>Jerry Brown vaporized $600 million dollars on a geo-thermal boondoggle<<<<

This sent me off on a 20 minute diversion, lol.

Since I’m not a CA resident, I hadn’t heard of this one. This douchebag put out 40 year bonds on a plant that would run for 30 and it really only ran 5 years!!. That should be enough to keep you out of politics forever but just like NJ’s own Frank “the corpse” Lautenberg, these fossils just never die and go away.

In researching this, I found a pretty good article.

Here's a link to Eugene Boudreau's book. California hired 90 geologists to survey the site for the Geysers in Sonoma County. Two of the geologists demonstrated that there wasn't enough steam to power the plants. Boudreau was one of them. The book fully documents the corruption, incompetance and "pie-in-the-sky" politics that led to the disaster.

Now brown is selling the same crap to get elected, "Green Industry." Brown is likely to win because he's crooked enough to fool some of the people all of the time.

Governor Jerry Brown's many splendored things: The rise & fall of the California Department of Water Resources' $600 million geothermal energy program for the State Water Project 1976-1991 R.I.P
