Paul LePage, Maine's Republican Candidate for governor, is drawing attention again with recent comments he made in a video posted online Tuesday afternoon. He referenced his imagination of future newspaper headlines should he become governor: "you're gonna be seeing a lot of me on the front page saying Governor LePage tells Obama to go to hell."

Maine needs to get rid of Thelma & Louise first...
Perhaps LePage can breathe some life into a dying state, whose population replacement rate would be among the lowest in the world if it were a nation-state.
Good for him; may his tribe increase.
They have already driven the car off the cliff. Most of us are just waiting for it to hit the bottom of the canyon. It will not do so until the people of Maine wake the H up!
I don't know him, but I already like him!
I read his bio. True American success story. May the Lord watch over him now that the liberals have targeted him!
Maine went off the cliff long ago.
That could be cured by an influx of illegal aliens.

No, telling Washington and the Prez to go to hell is EXACTLY what Maine needs to do to get itself back on track!
The states got together and created the federal government, not the other way around. And if the feds don't get back into line with the Constitution damn quick, the states are completely justified in closing their borders, calling up the militia, severing all ties with Washington (such as withholding all income taxes paid by state citizens), then threatening secession.
And if THAT doesn't work, then we REALLY start getting cranky about it!
Sounds like Mr. LePage has a good grip on states rights issues. Good luck in November, sir!
Nay, I differ mightily.
Any state governor is more powerful than any US senator.
It is the gov. that names the replacement for a vacant senate seat. Snowe is poised for an exit sooner than later [she is probably unaware of this situation, but that matters not] and it is the gov. that names the successor.
