Jimmy Carter: Will His 15 MInutes of Fame Never End?
All Voices ^ | September 27, 2010 | R.G. Yoho

For a man who was known for his toothy, beaming smile, a devotion to his church, and a seemingly cordial disposition, former president Jimmy CarterJimmy Carter has certainly shown himself to be an arrogant, belligerent, and petty little man.

No matter what you think of the Bush family, since their exit from public life, they have routinely chosen to remain in the background of public policy. Despite the slings and arrows directed their way by the opposition, they have been refreshingly non-critical of their successors.

The same cannot be said of Jimmy Carter, a man who couldn’t be driven from the public stage with an electric cattle prod.

It’s amazing that he wrote twenty books...with such a limited amount of accomplishment.

Very clever and FUNNY headline.

“Will his 15 mins of fame never end” ROFL. Don’t look like it. He should be frolickling with grandchildren by now, where’s AMY?

And then there’s that arrogant and obnoxious Cornbread Slick Willie who has started running for president again. Somebody needs to tell the boy his time is up too!

Forget about those that re-write history in academia, blogs, text book publishers, the MSM and so forth.

However we can look at the turnouts of past funerals of presidents, Ford and Reagan to maybe give a scale of what the next democrat president that passes away will compared to.

Carter has his hands full.

You think he is bad? Wait until the one term wonder BHO is out on his ass. He will NEVER STFU. He will have a book every year that explains how the evil, racist Republicans kept him from making America into a socialist utopia.

Notice how Nixon, Ford, Reagan, George H W Bush, and GWB ll went away and kept their mouths shut. Look how Carter and Clinton never stop blabbing! they had no class in office and none as former presidents.

I remember hearing rumors during his presidency that despite his persona, he was a very mean person.

I like to see this man on a regular basis to remind stupid people what nit-wits the libs are. He also has his own spin-off, Chris Matthews who wrote the Malaise speech reminding us nightly of the vacancy of the lefts reasoning and vision. You just don’t want these basket cases running anything.

Jimmy Carter: Will His 15 MInutes of Fame Never End?

Blaming a dead man for his failures (i.e., Teddy Kennedy for keeping
socialized medicine from passing on his watch).

I still don’t believe this is the same Jimmy Carter that served in
Admiral Rickover’s Nuclear Navy.
The Jimmy Carter we suffered with must be a space alien replacement.

Jimmmah’s 15 minutes of fame ended a long, long time ago - it has been most repeated 15 minutes of shame - but he, being totally immersed in his own evil self-serving abyss, sees it NOT!

It's either that or stay home with the wife.

Carter had four children, three boys and Amy, each of whom had at least one kid. Funny you never hear a thing about any of them.

Carter gave new meaning to the word "prick."

In his Diaries, during the first months of his administration, Reagan expressed slight bafflement more than once as he discovered a variety of honors and medals earned by various patriots, which Carter as president had been responsible for awarding, but had simply not cared enough to do so. Naturally President Reagan, who truly cared about people, made it right whenever this occurred.

He's not the same person who debated Ford. Once he was president, he apparently felt no pressure to pretend to be sane any longer.

Jimmy Carter served on WW II era surface ships and diesel electric submarines. He never served on a nuclear submarine. He had managed to get assigned to the engineering team working on the reactor for the nuclear submarine Seawolf but he left the program after about a year to go home and take over his father's peanut business.
