On a more direct note, I wonder if this woman has completely ostracized herself from her family. I mean, does she get invited to holiday gatherings? Does anyone in her family wish her Happy Birthday? Or has this woman gone so far around the bend that she literally gets off on deliberately alienating sympathetic family & friends?
Excellent point… she has “…gone so far around the bend…” I believe she has come full-circle to begin all over again, with a new cause as the vehicle for blaming someone or anything to maintain attention on her loss. At times I think because she was unable to settle the original family differences for why Casey was in the service, she may believe it is really her fault. Although the left did make use of her as best they could did not help.
