Everyone, please keep in mind all 435 House seats are up for grabs come November, as well as 37 Governorships, not sure about the Senate. The key this fall is supporting your local conservative candidates as the national party hasn’t caught up with the mood of the country yet. Money is flowing, it is just flowing locally.
Did anyone see the USA Today article about the Gov/State Republican parties crushing the Dems in fund raising across the country. This could be a direct result of the national RNC, NRCC continuing to be out of touch, most people are giving locally. I know I personally have given to individual candidates, not the party.
We are the vangaurd, we need to do all we can, in our neighborhoods and communities to push the conservatives as far as we can.
The electorate is as ripe as it will ever be to elect as many conservatives as we possibly can. We need to elect so many that the “establishment” crowd HAS to follow them, not the other way around.
It is people like us, those who love this country and care about it’s future, who will be at the polls this year. It is up to us to take as many people to the polls with us as possible.
This is 2010, this is the United States of America, the worlds “last, best hope”...If everyone here gave money or time and effort to a local campaign, we could turn the tide in a huge way.
Bingo...if that is what the number is that is what the ultimate goal should be.
judiciously pumping cash in the right races will probably produce a great payoff here!!
“That night was the most fun I’d had since election night 1980.”
I was in Northern Ireland in 1980 and watched the election returns there. I voted by absentee ballot. What a great night!
There is an essay I wrote which was meant to inspire activists to get involved in November, maybe I’ll send it to you (got to edit it first).
One of the lines..in fact the last few went like this:
Immagine your dream outcome of the election results November 3rd (all across the whole USA and including every single election), what is the best result you can imagine. Take just a minute to think about this. Do you have that mental image? GO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Winning congress is like staying on the field of battle long enough to reload our weapons for the next wave of the enemy trying to overwhelm us.

LOL.
Keeping their “feet to the fire” is actually something our “political masters” have actually made easier as they have evolved into the “perpetual campaign”. Our attention won’t drop after this election in Nov. ‘cuz we, too, are now in perpetual campaign.
Good post and great point about supporting local candidates & Governor candidates, too. We need as many conservatives & Republicans in our state offices as possible, including judges, in those states (like WA) that vote for some of them (including WA State SC). Having Rep Govs, especially in swing and large states, should also help in trying to defeat 0bama in 2012.
Also important to get Rep/Conservative SoS in, especially in lieu of Soros’ SoS project.

I vote like a black woman, he said in an interview. I dont know the black experience, but I know about being a minority and being discriminated against because of religion.
