BREAKING: Schwarzenegger delays California's first execution in nearly five years
(Excerpt) Read more at latimes.com ...
One of the worst governors ever. What a jackass.
So much for him being a “Terminator”.
He is probably following orders from his wife.
My guess - his wife.
KFI News: Delayed for 45-hrs. so Schwarzeneggar can consider clemency.
Mere words are insufficient to describe my opinion of this incompetent fool.
Girlie Man
That's it, thread is over.

He’s the worst. And since I really don’t see any difference between him and Whitman, I’m tending to voting for Brown just so when the state goes off the rails, the dims will be the only ones to blame.
The evil bastard kidnapped a 15 year old girl on her way to school, raped and murdered her. Then he called the girl’s parents and taunted them saying “Your daughter’s not home? You’ll never see her again.”
This happened 30 years ago.
Now they are giving this piece of debris the CHOICE of a single drug injection and a three-drug cocktail injection — and he won’t make the decision saying this is inhuman treatment! He should have had his genitals shot off 30 years ago, then dismembered slowly before he bled out. Indians in the northeast 300 years ago used to chop off limbs and genitalia, roast and eat them before the victim’s very eyes. We should bring them back to mete out justice.
He suffers from Kennedyitus. It’s a debilitating disease that softens the brain into pudding leaving the victim craving social justice, diversity, anti Americanism, marxism and socialism.
WTF, you have to take some short steps in the opposite direction first to get to where you want to go.
You think 40 years of Cali fruit and nuts is going to change in one election?
Why deprive a thug of his last good rush?
He hasn't had enough time to consider this?
Absolutely sickening of Schwarzenneger to do this. Sickening.
Yeah!!!!! Screw the eighth amendment!
Background:
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/sep/25/execution-set-wednesday-murderer-rapist/
It has been 28 years since a Riverside County jury recommended the death penalty for Albert Greenwood Brown, a convicted rapist who attacked a teenage girl as she walked to school and strangled her in an orange grove.
Brown has sat on death row at San Quentin State Prison, awaiting the day when he would be put to death for his crimes. That day could arrive this week.
Brown, 56, is scheduled to be executed Wednesday at one minute after midnight. If that happens, he would become the first inmate to die by lethal injection in California since legal challenges halted the practice in 2006.
More than 75 people have been sent to death row, including three from San Diego County, since a federal judge ruled four years ago that there was a disturbing and pervasive lack of professionalism in the states system for carrying out lethal injections.
As a result, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation revamped its procedures for capital punishment and rebuilt San Quentins death chamber.
Only a few factors remain that could stop Browns execution. A lawyer for Brown has asked Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for clemency, a request the Riverside County District Attorneys Office and the victims family vehemently oppose.
It is unconscionable to put decent, law-abiding citizens through this prolonged nightmare, Angelina Jordan, 70, wrote in a letter to the governor. Three decades have passed since Oct. 28, 1980, the day her 15-year-old daughter, Susan Louise Jordan, was raped and murdered.
