A secret clearance gets little or nothing. A Top Secret clearance is the brass ring.

Why dont we just give those glorified security guards the launch codes of our missiles and get it over with?
I just dont damn understand how these lazy bums whose sole objective is to yell at me to remove my shoes and place my laptop in a silver plastic tray are more qualified to read vital information.

How does this help them slip passengers' cameras out of luggage and into their pockets?

I suppose they could now try to claim that the form you fill out to tell them about a missing article is classified, and you don’t qualify to see it.

How safe is too safe? We lost lives on 9-11 because we were unable to identify the bad guys. If this helps keep the bad guys off airplanes then I am all for it.

My question is this, this is a Union organization, what extra pay do they get for it, it has got to be a perk or something. Remember who we are dealing with here...

Idiocy.
TSA routinely tests the screeners to see of they can catch guns, knives, etc.
Now, even when the screeners know the shift on which the attempt is going to be made, they still only catch about 28%-30% of the pretend armed bad guys.
That's right! When undercover TSA inspectors take guns (welded shot so they will not fire) through the x-ray machines, they got caught less than 1/3 of the time!

At Dulles International Airport in DC, about 30% of the women are Muslims, complete with head scarves!
Even in Dallas, at DFW, it’s about 5%!

A secret clearance gets little or nothing. A Top Secret clerance is the brass ringActually, a TS-SCI, DOE "Q" Clearance, critical nuclear weapons design clearance, and USSS Presidentials are higher.
I would hate to be the .gov G-2 equivalent reading on all those SF312s.

Where are all those FReepers afraid of the Bad People that just want government to cradle them and make them feel safe?
Aren’t they going to come around and say this is for stopping the terrorists? How about “if you are’t doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about”?
Where is that ever-so-amusing bunch of FReepers who had such blind faith in government?
