Thank god you weren’t campaigning for Scott Brown for the oldest most dem held, most liberal and most Kennedy seat in the history of the country. Sit down and shut up an let us Delawareans work this out. We may make history.

O’Donnell has $2.6 million on hand now. She needs to get at it herself. Any FReepers in the advertising market seen any COD ads yet?

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Delaware voters finds Coons with 49% support, while O’Donnell earns 40% of the vote.

Can you post that one up? Some of us can't get Rasmussen. Thanks!

O'Donnell should definitely hang the off-shore windmill farms on Coons' neck.

One of Delaware's biggest industries is the TOURISM drawn by their sparkling white beaches ~ mile after mile after mile of the stuff.

You put those windmills up and that'll be the end of that.

We are also the state of Roth who with Kemp started the idea of tax cuts to help the economy. We also have a very smart conservative statesman named Pete Dupont. We are a small state so knowing everybody helps. Biden is/was the king of gladhanders and got elected in the post Nixon/Vietnam dem takeover and ran with it. He was not, never has been one of the brighter lights of DE. We are also home to the Intercollegiate Studies Institute that Bill Buckley and Bill Bennett got started. We have more conservative laws than our supposed southern red state neighbors like VA and MD. We have lower unemployment than the national average. Our state is operating in the black fiscally when others are deep in the red. Call us morons, you better be able to back it up.

I posted the article that spawned one of the longest threads on FR during the vote on the Waxman Markey bill(cap and trade). I was on the phone with his office and his aid gave me the brush off. Ever since then, I have been gunning for Mike Castle. I didnt take away from this article “conservatism lite” as you do. But pretty much everything else you say, I agree with.

MD is not a “red state” ~ it’s a PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC if there ever was one.

BTW, one reason you can run in the black is Coons isn't ~ best you people run him outta' there.

Now, regarding Conservative laws, we'd have more of 'em in Virginia but for most of a century they ran a one-party operation here ~ all Democrat, all the time ~ we can tell you more about the ill-effects of having people like Biden in office than you can imagine.

Conservatism and the Republican party are still under development here, but they'd been much further along if Joe Biden hadn't been in public office.

(So there)!

I love VA. Was a time where that would be my state to move to if I had to move. Now I just dont know. Y’all have to pull a Christine O’Donnell. Scare the livin macaca out of the establishment pols. Senate control be damned, we cons in DE are starting to think we have an effect on our government and are jazzed.

We have a McDonnell as Gubernator now, and the Republicans control the House, but the evil Democrats resurrected their control of the Senate a couple of elections ago.

In the meantime the Democrats hired on our ex-Democrat governor to be their DNC Chairman, and he's as incompetent in that job as he was in his last job. I wish him well as DNC Chairman ~ may he have that job forever and a day!

“There were no FR castle supporters”.

You want names? I can give you some well regarded Freepers that wanted the guaranteed senate seat over our conservative ideals that posted on my pro-Odonnell threads. Its been me, Marklevinfan, and delawhere who have spoken out in this uphill battle. What I can not understand is now that she has won the primary, freepers are still taking pot shots when we all should be banding together. It doesnt make sense. Every freeper that has something bad to say about Christine Odonnell, other than substantive policy issues, should might as well go work for the ultra liberal Reid pet Coons.

Well, that is very interesting since Coons says he is planning to bring Yale Divinity School Values to the senate

http://spectator.org/archives/2010/09/27/coons-i-will-bring-yale-divini/3

particularly interesting is their study on witchcraft (and nope, not a joke, read the article)
