Now RINO Mike Castle Wants A Write-In

Campaign Too - We Must STOP Him!

Just when you think this election cycle can't get any more bizarre - we have now learned that liberal RINO Mike Castle is trying to follow in the footsteps of Lisa Murkowski to launch a write-in campaign for U.S. Senate after voters rejected him in the GOP primary.

Castle is now conducting a poll to see if his write-in campaign can win.  Here's the report from Politico:

What part of "NO" does Mike Castle not understand?  It's looking like we have the same pattern being repeated that we saw with Lisa Murkowski:  we're going to have to defeat him not just once, but twice.

Please support our campaign for Christine O'Donnell

Don't these people remember the rules??

When you lose to the better candidate, you BACK them, not go all whacko and keep running.

These leftists wolves in in GOP clothing have no shame the way they won't back CONSERVATIVE Republicans, only liberal (nothing moderate about them!) ones.

It's gonna backfire on them, but we have a lot of work to do!

Why stop him?
Let him and coons split the left while O’Donnell wins big with conservatives.

It’s called a counter punch

I don’t expect you to understand that.

You have it right. Castle hurts Coons, not O’Donnell. W eought to encou4rage him to stay in the race.

I think that will work in Alaska. Here, I am worried about a NY23 situation.

FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Murkowski has 1.5 million dollars left to blow and Mike Castle must have a decent amount too. If they did not have these war chests there would be no write-ins

I’d say no Castle.

Castle could spend all of his time attacking Christine.

That’s what he did in the Primary.

He wouldn’t win, but he would drive votes from the “center” to Coons.

We don’t want that. We win head to head I think.

Miller was going to win with or without Princess entering the race.

A NY23 race implies Christine is in a close race. She isn’t. She is more then a few points behind. Castle entering would help her. It doesn’t mean she’ll win but she has a better chance with him then without. IMO the electorate has been poisened against her by the bitterness of the establishment there and the media smears so she isn’t going to win over the Liberal Republicans or win enough Dems in a two way race. Castle has a shot of keeping those voters who don’t like her or Coons in his pocket. that lowers how many votes Coons gets so O’Donnell only needs to plan for massive conservative turnout and try to move enough Independents to her column.

I understand that Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly 2 to 1, and that liberals love Mike Castle.

The Delaware numbers are
293,000 Democrats
183,000 Republicans
146,000 others

If Kassel syphons off enough Democrats with a write-in campaign, O’Donnell can win, provided she carries most Republicans and gets a decent share of the independents. Pro-O’Donnell enthusiasm and depressed Democrat turnout will help.

That’s about her only shot at actually winning this thing.
You do realize, of course, that if O’Donnell goes on to lose after Kassel was a sure thing, then this will be used against the Tea Party movement in general, and the Tea Party Express and Sarah Palin specifically, by both the leftwing media, and the GOP RINO establishment.

No, Castle can really mess things up for Christine. He won’t be able to do damage from the outside.

I’m not faulting the logic, but you’re all assuming that Castle won’t just be attacking Christine.

No, if it’s Coons/O’Donnell she loses big. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise.

It doesn’t matter if he attacks her, he never has stopped attacking her. His voters won’t support her now. They will either sit it out or vote Coons. Unless he gets in then enough may go back to him that maybe she can win.

That makes sense, and would be a rich irony.

I think her triumph in Delaware would result in the sudden removal of several Vichy Republicans from infarctions and aneurysms.

Christine can easily just win vs Coons head to head.

She has lots and lots of money now. She’s a national star right now. Coons is unknown and has less money.

Christine is just the better candidate.

And it’s a Republican year. If things don’t go well nationally for Republicans, I don’t think Christine will do well. But I think Republicans are going to do well and that Christine will do well.

NY23 was totally different.
NY23 is Republican territory, it was theirs to lose.
Delaware is not (but it was Mike Kassel’s to lose.)

Scozzafava was the official Republican in the race, Kassel will not be.
Scozzafava droped out and then endorsed the Democrat.
Kassel can always endorse Coons, whether he runs or not.
In fact, if he’s running against Coons, that’s the best way to keep him from endorsing Coons. Perhaps the only way.

Christine will win head to head against Coons. She’s the better candidate, now she has lots of money - now 2.662 million. She beat the beloved Castle even though Castle spent 10x as much money.

Castle could run and then drop out and then endorse Coons. That would be much worse.

It’s appearing that Castle will not be running as a write-in. The Delaware GOP is rallying around Christine. Castle and Christine spent a little time together, a picture was taken at least.

It would be better for Christine if he didn’t run.
