I want to call everyone’s attention to a theme I heard pushed by our local paper and radio station.
“Voters aren’t really angry. They are sad. Sad and depressed. They feel like both parties are the same. They feel like voting is pointless. They sit on their front porches and tell us about cars and homes they lost, jobs they used to have. They are sad and depressed. So much so, they won’t vote.”
Please pay attention and see if this shows up on your local stations. To me, it is an effort to depress the vote by making people feel that their anger is unusual, and that everything is pointless.
I would not be surprised to find a third-string Journolista group made up of local reporters.

Voters are angry......and determined to push through real change. I've been noticing articles that claim the Repub's surge in polls is waning.....that Dem's are making a comeback....there may not be a political blood-bath this fall.
Nice try. I think the "journolistas" will try anything at this point. They're throwing everything out there to see what might work.

From everything I see here in liberal land. The dems will NOT be voting.
And we know very well the tea partiers are energized and WILL be voting.
Only last week O was begging his base to get the folks energized. Even he knows it’s a lost cause.

Your post 109: what's really going on is that the media types are sad and depressed, because their Affirmative Action experiment in the White House is not working out, so they are projecting their sadness on the entire country."I don't know anybody who's happy, so nobody is going to come out and vote."
And they will be surprised when their favorite candidates lose this time around, because after all the demonization is over, the voters are left with this image, "DO they trust their Democrat in the US House to actually vote to lower taxes AFTER the election, or will that Dem pull a Bart Stupak?" It's a referendum on all the Dems, not just Obama.
