Education, energy, foreign affairs, terrorism, the economy; when you thing of all the areas that need to be rebuilt/revisited,the environmental movement, its endless. When our side takes over in 2012,it will take 4 years just to begin to take back the country and even then it will be a relentless job to get it all done.

You could tell Rhee looked like she was walking on eggs today.

That’s interesting, Carolyn. Rhee was the only one I actually tried to listen to this morning. I thought she chose her words carefully. Yes, the Mayor just lost the election. Idiot voters in DC. They never learn.

The Democrats in congress have done nothing but steamroll their policies and bills through congress, to be signed by a progressive president who supports any and all new government programs and controls. There has not been Republican input because the whole issue is fundamentally opposite of American thought and expectations.

It’s about time the Democrats started “compromising” with Republicans to lower government and taxes, not Republicans to “compromise” with Democrats to raise it all.

The Pledge is not specific because voters need an explanation and education on what’s involved. Until that happens, the Democrats will demonize the discussion. Screw that. Defeat the Democrats because they will not work to America’s future. They hate a market economy and capitalism. With that a given, there can be NO compromise, only defeat.

Saw it in the Dallas Morning news. Profiles of the wives of the two governor candidates. Rick Perry’s wife sounds so nice.

Every once in a while, she has to say to Rick, “who told you you were cute?”

Actually both wives sounded nice but my votes for Rick.

Sadly, you’re right. About one half of Americans pay taxes, while the other half doesn’t pay any, and mooches off the productive half (Ayn Rand, anyone?). For moochers, tax cuts reduce their “freebies.”

She is walking on eggs, she lost the support for her efforts with the election in DC this month, it’s a shame that people voted, in essence, for poor education and safety in DC because the mayor, who happened to be black, was actually hiring people based on qualifications instead of color... black voters turned him out of office for it, and in the process all the good things Rhee has been trying to accomplish have been undone starting with Obama allowing the cuts for charter funding after he took office and now by getting rid of the mayor.

Nice wives are great. But, they don’t make policy or steer the state. Heck, if wives were a real consideration 0 would never have been elected. He’s married to a shrew.

It may seem nice to do but your Dallas news program missed the debate and capitulated to feel good, can’t we all get along political BS.

Yes, but if what has happened in DC is anything, it is a warning that the left will turn out to vote back their old, tired and failing ways so we cannot let up.

I watched a segment on TV about that mayor’s race that also featured Rhee. You’re absolutely right. The idiot voters were upset about the mayor hiring non blacks!

Well, all I can say is Kasich and Portmam came onto the field like Rudy, against heavily financed, popular, incumbent office holders (Fisher is Lt Gov and former AG), neither R had ever run state-wide. They had been gone from the state for awhile. I think it is all Obama’s failure at the stick which is sweeping these guys into office. One Dem who may stay in Congress is Zack Space who is a “Blue Dog” which Rush calls “still a D”. We’ll see, but Obama has a hell of a legacy in the Rust Belt. Comes in here as says the jobs are gone and ain’t coming back. ‘You people’ can cling to your guns and Bibles etc etc. but I’m gonna fundamentally rock your world.” Of course the downside of Buckeyes is they believe you guy in Pac NW are either werewolves or vampires. I wonder where they got that idea. (Clue: Hollywood).

All I know about your winter I got from reading Kenneth Robert's Arundel, about the Arnold expedition into Canada. After reading it, that is all I want to know.

Wouldn't be so bad if it was shorter, dryer and sunnier. But at least when God created Maine, he built it out of firewood.

I thought Boehner handled himself pretty well today with DNC advocate Chris Wallace who has gone over the fence at this point into rat land.

As I recall Wallace tried to get Boehner to claim that he would cross the aisle to the dems--a cute rat trick,in the interest of bipartisanship(another word for getting rolled by the dems) by the now discredited Wallace. Boehner did not fall for it as a McCain would have in a rino heartbeat. So good for him.

The rats have steamrolled us over and over and if we don't return the favor than our guys have nothing hanging where the fly is on their pants. We already know the pubbie gals have all the guts so why even mention that.
