In 2004, the Republican master strategist Karl Rove led weekly sessions at his Washington residence where, over big plates of his butter-smothered eggies and bacon slabs, he planned the re-election of President George W. Bush and what he hoped would be lasting Republican dominion over Democrats.

He lost me last week.
Up his.
Rover is a legend in his own mind. Just read his book. He did help Dubya get elected BUT should not have stayed on as a high level policy advisor. He simply lacks the knowledge and expertise to do that [same with Rahm, Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett] and steered Dubya into some major blunders, including not responding to lies and slurs (which Rove now concedes was his fault).
So he got dubya elected and dubya like his father was a progressive RINO who helped the conservative cause. yeah right! Rove trying so hard to be somebody. Don’t need your help or input, you are part of the reason why we have a zero in the WH
The way things are going, the GOP is going to start taxing candidate campaigns for using the Republican brand and ballot line in order to pay for the RNC head office.
Remove the word “mediocre,” and the word “stupid,” and you’ve got mho of this man.
lol post of the day!
In a choice between a RINO or a conservative, Rove would prefer the RINO.
The Republic is in danger.
Never in out history has the nation been governed by a group so fundamentally at odds with the values and the believes of the average citizen as the 0 Democrats.
In every other election the two sides shared some common values that linked them all as Americans. That is not the case this time. This time it is the Americans vrs the Anti Americans. Between those who value the exceptionalism of the USA and those who wish to destroy that exceptionalism and remake it in the style of a European Democrat Socialist country.
The old guard persists in thinking of this as just another election, just another round in the game where everyone shakes hands afterwords. That is not at all the case. We are now engaged in a remorseless revolutionary struggle where by either the Republic is restored or it is forever lost.
In that struggle there is no middle ground. One is either on our side or against us. I know that is hard for the "can't we all just get along" GOP Establishment types to deal with but that is the reality in US politics we are living these days.
ZERO to the NRA, RNC, or ANY other group that tends to throw ANY of their collected donations towards demonRATS, RINOs, or political opportunists like Crist, Spector, Scuzzafavva (spelling - who cares?), Murkowski, etc.
Dear Karl,
Please go eat another large pizza followed by a gallon of ice cream. That out to keep your mouth shut for a few minutes AND keep your girlie figure!
Also, it is too little to late for him to say he erred in not defending Bush as the Dems unloaded on him. We all knew it was a mistake at the time. Inexcusable.
Rove is an (R). I am a conservative. He doesn’t care if it is a Castle or a Snowe that is elected so long as an (R) wins. Not my cup of Tea.
I agree with your post. Well said. It’s ballots, bullets, or overt oppression. Very little time left for mistakes or losses.
Rove is a consummate politician, untroubled by Christian heritage. He requires a Come To God moment.
...perhaps a trip on the road to Damascus..?
Why post pictures of George C. Scott when there are plenty of pictures of the real General Patton around?
