Astroturf?!? I’ve been posting regularly here 10 years longer than you, buddy.

The truth is, as we’re seeing all around the country, it does no good to nominate RINOs. With a few exceptions, they generally lose.

We need to energize the base, by nominating candidates they can get excited about.

Apparently California, with businesses departing in droves leaving 12%+ unemployment, likes the status quo. Boxer has steadily pulled away ever since the debate with Fiorina. They saw the two face off and somehow liked what they saw/heard in Boxer.

Of course, this is a state in which polls there show 56% approve of 0bama’s job performance.

I sincerely wish my family members would escape that hellhole.

Kerry must have been speaking of California when he spoke of stupid voters.

How can vote for the numbskulls Boxer and Brown?

Need to find a bookie giving points, and place serious bucks on Whitman and Fiorina.

The LA times placed feinstein in front of wilson by 17 points, when Willie brown wondered out loud why were we even holding elections, such a waste of money.

Don't belive nothin' they spew.

What is your agenda? To promote conservatism? Or merely to promote liberalism in the guise of the GOP?

My point, obviously, is that liberalism fails whenever it’s tried. Even in the California GOP.

Stop with the hyperbole and the phony accusations. No one comes to Free Republic for voting advice.

California tried it your way seven years ago, and got Schwarzenegger. Look at how that worked out.

My hope is that what consistently fails in California will serve as a warning for conservatives in the rest of the country.

As for Brown, he’s a sad joke. It boggles my mind that anyone could vote for him, even after all these years, because we’ve seen this movie before, and already know how it turns out. I am frustrated that the GOP didn’t put up a stronger candidate against him. They obviously figured that Meg Whitman had more money, so she would be the right pick. But that’s a flawed strategy.

Next time the GOP should nominate a candidate who didn’t run her company into the ground.

No one has the MONEY to take on the UNIONS and MOVEON.org and Hollywood Left !

If the UNIONS ,MOveon.org, and Hollywood are trying to STOP Meg she is doing something right !

Lets stop trashing the Republican and start working on stopping Moonbeam.
I am tired of the purity tests here which result in radical leftist getting elected ! Do you want MOONbeam and UNIONS handling the census results or ramming thru gay nutter Mark Leno's single payer law !

Money alone doesn’t cut it. You need a story to tell the voters that is different than what’s already been going on. Would Poizner have been better? Maybe...maybe not. But the old strategies no longer work.

From your link:

That said, while the poll of polls has Fiorina within three, I’m a little worried that Boxer seems to have built a steady five- or six-point lead over the past few weeks even in polls with respectable samples.
Guess you are the one eating CROW.

Now, go back to your sandbox and play nice.
