Rasmussen poll shows Miller ahead in Senate race
KTUU ^ | September 22, 2010 | Lori Tipton

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll of 500 likely voters in Alaska Sunday, Joe Miller is well ahead of Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Sitka Mayor Scott McAdams in the race for U.S. Senate.

The results show that 42 percent of those polled supported Miller. Murkowski was slightly ahead of McAdams, 27 percent to 25 percent.

The poll came just two days after Murkowski announced her write-in Senate bid, following her loss to Miller in last month’s Republican primary.

The poll suggests Murkowski may split the independent and Democratic vote with McAdams, while Miller enjoys strong support among conservatives.

A very interesting year in politics. There’s also this re the Colorado governor race:

“A CNN poll out this week adds to the heartache. It shows Hickenlooper at 47, Tancredo at 29 and Dan Maes at 21. But independents are breaking for Tancredo over Maes, 45 to 15. And Tea Party sympathizers pick Tancredo over Maes 51 to 35.”

Oh, those annoying Tea Partiers!

Looks like Lisa really didn't get it.

Her appeal is to the Left. She's siphoning support from McAdams, and Miller coasts in on a plurality.

Gotta luv that girl. She's only right when she's wrong!

Miller was 47-39 against McAdams 3 weeks ago.

Miller is now 42, MurCOW 27 and McAdams 25.

So 'WHO' is MurCOW hurting???

Morekowski @ >25% indicates that she is not totally off her rocker.

Telling a pollster something when presented three options, and voting when presented with two options, are not altogether the same thing. She has no inherent disadvantage in telephone polls. She has a big one in the voting booth.

The good old boys (left and right) never should have messed with Gov. Sarah Palin and her children. All they did was piss her off.

The TEA Party is going to put both the GOP and the 'RATS out of business. And that's a good thing.

It’s apparently the anti-Palin voters that support Morecowsky.

*Rubs hands together gleefully*

Gotta love it. The Powercrat is getting a second political smackdown from the voters.

I’m thinking a Castle run in Delaware might prove equally disruptive to the Rats.

It doesn't look for Shemansky, or whatever her name is. Kowalski? Mankowski?

It's getting harder and harder to remember day. By election day I wonder if even she will be able to spell it correctly.

Hasbeenski? Rinoski?

I laugh every time I see people on here misspell Murcoski’s last name! It’s like there’s some subliminal conspiracy to see that Senator Merchanski isn’t successful in her write-in bid. Let’s be fair to her, okay? Marrchowski isn’t an easy name to spell!

(really, I do laugh about it)

The poll suggests Murkowski may split the independent and Democratic vote with McAdams, while Miller enjoys strong support among conservatives.

I predicted this the day she announced the write-in candidacy. Unfotunately I can't prove my foresight because I didn't post it!

What a sad woman. She sold what little integrity she had for revenge and now she won't even get that.
