Not at a political event, but a sale. I was taking some pictures and was told I couldn’t. I said, “why not”. I was told it wasn’t allowed. A supervisor became upset and told me again I couldn’t take pictures. I took her picture. There was a LEO present for crowd control and they asked her to ask me to stop taking pictures and why don’t I leave. I asked her what law was I breaking? She had no answer. She asked me why don’t I leave anyway. I asked on what authority did I have to leave. I explained my reasons for being there and why I was taking pictures and that I was standing up for my constitutional rights and I would leave when it was clear it was my decision to leave not theirs.
My son thought I was going to jail. I said I did nothing wrong and was not going to give in to their Gestapo tactics and relinquish my rights. It’s important.
I applaud this guy and people who video police doing their duty. And not to forget those protesting at abortion clinics. Obey the law when it is just, challenge it when it’s not. Always stand up for your rights.
Good for you. We have to stand up to the creeping tyranny going on all over this country.
