The New York Times is running an editorial today entitled Tea Partys Big Money. It claims that the Tea Party is not really the insurgent, anti-Washington establishment peoples movement it purports to be:
In earthbound reality, many of the people pulling the Tea Partys strings are establishment Republican operatives and lobbyists.
The Times editorial is long on sneers, but short on specific examples of its charges. It mentions only three Sal Russo, a political consultant who established the Tea Party Express; Dick Armey, the former House Republican leader who founded FreddomWorks; and Carl Paladino, a businessman from Buffalo New York who is the Republican nominee for governor of New York.
Yet they are bit players in comparison with the bankroller-in-chief of progressive causes the multi-billionaire, self-admitted amoral player of the global financial markets, George Soros.
Soros is a living example of the motto: He who has the gold makes the rules. He has the gold (literally, I should add) and has poured many millions of dollars into shoring up the base of the Democratic Party to help the Obama-Pelosi-Reid team take over Washington.
Soros created the Open Society Institute (OSI), which serves as the flagship of a network of Soros foundations that donate tens of millions of dollars each year to a wide array of individuals and organizations that share his progressive agenda. One of many of these phony peoples organizations is MoveOn.org, which helped propel Barack Obama to the presidency.
Indeed, Soros was instrumental in creating the so-called Shadow Party the nationwide network of unions, non-profit activist groups, and think tanks whose agendas are ideologically to the left, and which are engaged in campaigning for the Democrats. This networks activities include fundraising, get-out-the-vote drives, political advertising, opposition research, and media manipulation.

Maybe the TPer’s ‘big money’ needs to put out an editorial of their own.
Some ugly guy was on Fox a little while ago, and he wouldn’t say WHO was bankrolling him on this anti-Tea Party roll out....he said “foundations and grants”!! Tides Foundation...Ford Foundation... Soros’ Open Society....ALL INVOLVED is my guess!!
“In earthbound reality, many of the people pulling the Tea Partys strings are establishment Republican operatives and lobbyists.”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
NY Times Preposterous Laughable Lies: In earthbound reality, many of the people pulling the Tea Partys strings are establishment Republican operatives and lobbyists.
Translation to English: In earthbound reality, the Tea Partys TARGETS are establishment Republican operatives and lobbyists.
I do fervently hope and believe someday...hopefully soon... I’ll wake up to news that Soros has suffered a massive, debilitating and paralyzing stroke. Hopefully he’ll be fully conscious and aware of his inability to move or speak. Death would be too kind for someone like him.
Doesn't he know about Hitler's pineapple?
“Between the velvet lies. There's a truth that's hard as steel.”
In Hungarian, soros means “next in line.”
Next in line to give Hitler his pineapple?
Since he is most likely going to Hell, I don't think that's true.
Tides Foundation is hard core leftist.
Saw part of that. He is the head of consumerwatchdog.org or something like that. Name is Jaime Court.
You haveto love the hypocrisy of the left. Whatever they say others are doing is exactly what they are!
