While America may not be able to make Islam a hate crime, it could redefine Islam as the totalitarian ideology that it is, thus rendering it unprotected under the First Amendment. But, alas, America probably won’t have the guts to do that, either.
Sad but true, it would be a great thing and show some leadership...a beacon of hope to other western countries..
