Why is it unclear? A similar case in April, also without causing any related injury resulted these non-Muslim Teens Facing FELONY CHARGES

Note also that this Islamic Center/Masjid is headed by the local Deering High School Science Teacher:

Is it a coincidence that the article linked by Atlas refers to unidentified 'elders' from the mosque dismissing what they characterized as an 'experiment'? It wouldn't be in their best interests to reveal the science teacher's identity and relation to this mosque under these circumstances, now would it? It is also likely these 'elders' responded only after the arrival of the police - providing protective cover for their little explosive prodigy. You can bet your bottom dollar that had this 'experiment' been conducted by a non-believer, they would be all over the media demanding Felony and Hate Crime charges against the 'teen'.

This related video report also alludes to a second incendiary device being found. Again, I quote:

". . .Police then found a second device underneath a vehicle that was parked nearby, but they were able to disable it before it exploded."

I don't know about you, but I'm curious about whose vehicle was involved. Could it have been a zoning official or board member having dinner at the Back Bay Grill since- by coincidence, there is yet another dispute about a new mosque muscling into this Maine community. Why worry? Kids experiment all the time. In the last 10 years, kids have experimented at the World Trade Center in NYC, at the Pentagon, on the London Underground and Spanish trains, outside several American Embassies, and at thousands of other locations. It’s no big deal. As the Smartest-Man-in-America announced, “we can absorb the damage”.
