I disagree. I believe Rove actually helped O'Donnell by bringing up all her "baggage". The Democrats were going to pounce on all of that anyway so Rove bringing it up took away some of their sting. It gave O'Donnell more time before the elections to put the charges behind her. It also gave her a HUGE assist in fund raising.
Rove was disappointed by the results of the primary because he was focused only on taking back the majority and thought Castle's loss would keep that from happening. You and I both believe Rove was wrong in his thinking. I guarantee you, Rove will be extremely pleased if Christine O'Donnell wins this thing on Nov. 2nd. Instead of this relentless attack on Karl Rove, I think it would be more beneficial to help O'Donnell win this thing. An O'Donnell win will send the right message to her doubters.
I posted this response on another thread but think if fits here as well;
“Bull, the democrat opponent plays that role, those two gutted her in her week of glory and momentum and in a way that is the worst week she will probaly suffer during this entire process, they stole that week and left perfect, focused sound bites for opposition ads.
When have you ever seen anything like this before where the party big cheese goes after the party nominee with this white hot venom? They are willing to throw a Senate race to stop this conservative movement.”
