Going on two years in January. Over 40 so I opted for the mono-vision where they fix one eye for distance and one for up close. After a very short time, your brain does the work and uses the better eye depending on the focal point. Works wonderfully. 20/15 and love the freedom (water sports, golfing, etc.) it gives me. I can see the alarm clock in the middle of the night, and no contact crap when traveling. Got myself a pair of spectacles for driving at night only to balance both eyes for distance. Way better than before. No complaints here.

I had the mono-vision LASIK too in Oct 2008. Without question, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my vision. It’s a miracle to me to be able to see without contacts and glasses..something I had not experienced since I was 10 yrs old. I am 50+ and doc said I may need to get my close-up eye tweaked in about 5 years but as of now..no problems at all!
