I’m thinking Mussolini more than Hitler, in the case of the US and the current times.
Just like the leftists in our government (and elsewhere) want. Soros must really miss his old boss.
Politically, it is usually wiser not to invoke the name of Hitler, unless you are actually talking about Hitler.
Good Lord, the man has read a history book or two! The horror!
>Economic Decline Could Lead To A New Hitler

Too late, we have one right now. Actually far dumber and worse than Hitler.
more shocking, he is the first guy to read a history book...?
aint no book or man seen the potential of what these pigs have unleashed.
I swear that just because he is a Paul, I was prepared to point and laugh BUT....he made sense.
Zero isn’t Hitler, he is more like Mussolini.
I stand corrected.
Nationalism and socialism don't really combine in the American political bloodstream.
The more patriotic an American is, the more he hates socialism.
The more socialist an American is, the more he hates his country.
Patriots in America are portrayed as irrational and violent, but rarely are. Socialists in America are quite irrational and violent.
Chavez hated Venezuela as it was, destroyed its constitution and is transforming it into a caricature of Cuba, and his supporters are the urban underclass, the academics, and the trade unions.
That's a more likely model for a dictator - and the means of his accession to power will likely be a constitutional amendment (like the deletion of the electoral college) that will allow a one-time, fixed plebiscitary election to destroy our institutions.
I'm not saying this is the most likely outcome, just that this is the most likely way such an outcome could happen.
You should be too embarrassed to admit your prejudice.
I have zero patience for his father, but Rand Paul has either not drunk the Flavor Aid or is very careful about not showing that he has drunk the Flavor Aid.
...More like another Chavez, a socialist demagogue!
“Zero isnt Hitler, he is more like Mussolini.”
Allende.
Our First President had a better understanding:
Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.
- George Washington, Circular Letter of Farewell to the Army, June 8, 1783 -
Sorry, his Dad’s a nut and that leads to certain judgements on anyone with the name. I have read up on Rand however and he seems not only sane but perhaps a strong ally for the conservative caucus in the Senate.
Bingo! Birds of a feather 0bama and Chavez.
Barack Obama would love to wear jackboots, if he could get away with it.
The huge mob of mindless democrat voters is ripe for a dictatorship.
Waiting for the MSM to claim that Ran Paul was referencing himself with that statement....
