The quote that jumps out of this Washington Post teaser story is the one where Obama says
We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger.
There’s already debate about what this means. On the one hand, it’s not as if Obama is shrinking back from our defense. In some ways (drone strikes in Pakistan), he’s actually been more aggressive than President Bush. On the other hand, Ace is right that this formulation only makes sense coming from someone who has all but given up on stopping every attack. You don’t say “we can take it” unless you expect to be hit. It’s a view very much at odds with President Bush, who by all accounts was deeply committed to preventing another attack and, in fact, succeeded in preventing one during the remainder of his tenure.

I’m concerned that we can’t absorb Obamao’s attack on America, and come out stronger.
Shocking! I knew Obambi had our best interests at heart when he bowed down before the Saudi king.

Right. Why doesn’t he just capture the capitol of Talibanistan and force the Talibanistian president to sign a peace treaty and then have Talibanistan join NATO.
I can think of dozens of Republicans who have the knowledge of how to do this that Obami just doesn’t have.
