btw, last night we tried to watch ABC's “Detroit 1-8-7” It has to be the most boring show I have seen, as if done by amateurs for a college class project. None of us watched it to the end.

Detroit is no longer a livable city. It is in fact, dying. From a peak of over 2 Million people, what we have now is a city of about 900,000. Over a million have fled the city.

Close to 30% of the city’s residential area is VACANT.

Certain parts of the city look like a war zone and the new Mayor, former NBA great, Dave Bing is proposing razing parts of the city (where buildings are abandoned and in dis-repair) and replacing them with “green” zones.

The sad thing is this city used to be vibrant with life, business and culture ( remember MOTOWN ?).
